My Money MatterZ – How about yours?

Students who are exposed to the economic way of thinking are more self-confident and more competent in making financial decisions, building their careers, and acting as informed citizens. By gaining understanding of the ‘real’ world student can increase their prospect for better lives.

My Money MatterZ is a high quality instructional program for students (grade 3 – 5). The goal of the program is to help students make thoughtful, well-informed decisions about important aspects of personal finance, including earning income, spending, saving, borrowing, investing, and managing money.

Lessons are geared to active learning with games, simulations, role-playing and computer use designed to reinforce students’ understanding though applications and practice.

Students learn how to make decisions, and equally important, how to avoid poor ones. The emphasis on economic concepts and the economic way of thinking help develop financial skills.

One exciting feature of this outstanding program is that we provide parent reports for each lesson plan. Research shows that students learn a considerable amount of their economic decision-making abilities from their parents. We are committed to assist parents in the practical education of their children. The reports are informative and instructive for both students and parents.

Students and parents both love the program.

This program meets state and national standards for economics, mathematics and personal finance.
